Rico Horca is a first-generation immigrant, educator, ministry leader, business professional, and founder of the First Generation Immigrant Network (FGIN).
Determined to make the most of those sacrifices, Rico graduated with honors from high school, earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University, and later completed an MBA at Golden Gate University.
Throughout his career, he has worked in engineering, technology, education, knowledge management, and business leadership, helping organizations improve performance, develop talent, and create systems that support growth and success.
Beyond his professional work, Rico has dedicated much of his life to serving others. He served as a Youth Minister for junior high and high school students before eventually becoming a Teaching Pastor, mentoring and encouraging people to grow in character, leadership, faith, and purpose.
Today, Rico’s passion is helping first-generation immigrants accelerate their journey from survival to success. Through FGIN, his writing, teaching, speaking, and mentoring, he seeks to equip immigrants and their families with practical tools for education, career growth, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, leadership, and legacy building.
He believes that success is not simply about achieving more—it is about becoming more and helping others rise along the way.
